INCREASE IN EGG PRICE SOUGHT IN AUCKLAND WELLINGTON. August 5. A claim that the poultry industry in the Auckland province had been hit so hard through increased costs and decreased production . as to require an increase in the price of eggs or the payment to the producer of a subsidy of 2s L?d a dozen, was made in Wellington to-day by Mr F. G. Jackson, of Auckland, a member of the New Zealand Poultry Board.
