Rumanian Official Leaves London Legation Alleging Gestapo Methods
(Rpc. 9.20). LONDON, August 5. The press counsellor at the Rumanian Legation in London, M. lon Murgu, has resigned in protest against the “Gestapo habits of the regime in Rumania, and in the Legation in London”.
M. Murgu alleged that the Legation has treated him as a spy, and has opened all his letters.
