Watch Clue On Skeleton

SYDNEY, May 31 A watchmaker at Broken Hill has helped to establish the identity of a skeleton found in a gully eight miles from the town ■by two youths. The bones of the skeleton were scattered over the,area. A search .recovered an upper denture, a gold wristlet watch, and the rotted remains of a shotgun. A watchmaker identified the watch as one which he had repaired in 1940 for a bookmaker’s clerk, who had subsequently disappeared. The police found that the man left his hotel with a shotgun in 1942, after receiving notice to report for military service?
