Watersiders Again Refuse Work on Mountpark
AUCKLAND, June 1. Three gangs, comprising 45 men, refused to work the freighter Mountpark to-day when the rfist call for labour, since Friday, was made. Although a Waterfront Commission move was expected to end the dispute, there is likely to be fresh developments to-day. Members of the union held a stop work meeting and it is understood that they reaffirmed their refusal to remove the hatches from the three holds of the Mountpark which is still unloaded.
