Lebanon Releases Americans

NEW YORK, May 29. The United States Department or State said that 41 Americans wlio were seized bv the Lebanon Government had accepted thir freedom on Lebanon’s terms. • The department said that arrangments were beint. made for their return to the United States. The Americans were en route to Palestine when the Lebanese authori ties seized them from the Marino Camp in Beirut. Lebanon had pre viouslv refused a United State demand that the Americans be released unless they were returned to the United States.
