Neither United nor Blaketown backs were called upon for much work on Saturday, when the teams hiet at Rugby Park, and' a'hard forward struggle developed, United winning by 24 points to three. Dewar was in fine kicking form and the two. field goals he shot were fine efforts. A third attempt narrowly failed. Mathison put over a fine kick to secure a penalty well out. Blaketown’s only points came from a penalty.
