CYCLING Boys’ Cycle Race Won by Duffy
A race for boys was held by the Grey Cycle Club during the week-end from Morressey’s Hotel to the Cobden stone crusher and return. This was the fifth in a series of 12. Results:— Duffy (50sec) 1, Clark (65sec) 2, Mclntyre (lOse.c) 3 Duffy’s time was 9mins 15secs. Mclntyre secured fastest time completing the distaince in Bmins 48secs. . , , An aggregate of points gained by the five yeading riders in the competition to date is Mar;Vn 11; Boot. 6; Mclntyre 10; Ogilvie 4; Longley 3; Duffy 3; Clark 2.
