(Rec. 9.50 A SHANGHAI, April 16 It is believed that the passengers and crew of the Chinese freighter, “Wan Lee,” whose sinking was cabled yesterday, are being held by Chinese Communists in the town of Yungchenhsien. Representatives of the ship’s owners and relatives are flying to Tsingtao and to Peinking to-day to seek military assistance in locating and rescuing the cantives.
