GARAGE WORKER BURNED BY EXPLOSION

P.A. NEW PLYMOUTH, April 16 Severe burns to the face, neck, arms and chest were, suffered by Ralph Geoffrey Druce, of Ohura, a garage proprietor, when a primus stove he was using exploded in his face to-day. He was admitted to Taumarunui hospital, and his condition to-night was reported to be serious. Druce was working on the floor of his garage with a blow lamp and the primus, which apparently became overheated. It exploded with great force over his head and shoulders, which became a mass of,flames.
