Braund Cancer Cure Proves a Flop

SYDNEY, April 15

Three Canadians who have been receiving treatment for cancer from Mr J. Braund. left Australia for Canada by air last night. They said they were convinced that Braund could not cure cancer and were sorry they had come to Australia to see him.

The disappointed patients were Mrs ,J. Northam, aged 36, Mrs R Mclntyre, aged 33, and Mr Harold Evans, a contractor, all ot Vancouver.

“Braund should be in gaol,” said Evans. “His conversation and tactics led me, at first, to believe he had something. If I still thought that Im could cure cancer, then I would not be going back. I believe in the committee’s report and I do not believe that the doctors on the committee used any coercion on the laymen members. The committee’s remarks on the treatment were justified.”
