, . LONDON, April 15. On Wednesday Soviet guards near Vienna allowed two British military convoys to pass through the Semmering Pass road control point after only a 10-minute hold-up. v drivers produced the grey four-language pass whch the Russians previously claimed was not sufficient. Military trains passed through.Xhe Soviet barrier at Semmering after a slight delay, although military personnel refused the Soviet demands for identity cards with photographs. The British authorities have apparently won a victory in a verbal battle with the Russians as to whether military personnel should to show identity cards with photographs when passing through the Russianoccupied zone of Austria.
