GENERAL MOTORS TO SOON MAKE CARS IN AUSTRALIA
(Rec. 11.0). MELBOURNE, April 15. It has been reported that shortage of skilled labour had delayed the production of the General Motors Coy.’s Australian car for eighteen months. This was denied to-day by the manager of the company, Mr H. E. Bettie. Pie said that the company’s plans were unchanged. There would be a “pilot” production run of cars beginning in July to test tooling and equipment. ■
