U.S. Grain For Italy. — The first American grain ship to reach Italy under the Marshall aid plan arrived at Naples with 8.000 tons of cereals— Rome, April 13.
Rewards in Germany Contrasted. —• Chanticleer in the Daily Herald says: Two notices are posted now outside the Town Hall at Munster, in Germany. One offers 200(> marks (£5Ol for information leading to the arrest of a murderer. The other offers 3000 marks reward for the return of a stolen spare tyre. —London, April 14.

Looted Gold.—The State Department announced to-day that 31,000,000 dollars’ worth of gold, looted by the’ Germans, will be returned to- Italy soon by a British-American-French commission.—Washington, April 13.
Olympiad Board Dear. —The Olympic Games organising committee has decided to charge £1 5s daily for each competitor’s board, lodging and transport. Competitors will get food on the scale of a heavy manual worker and half a pound of chocolate weekly. —London, April 14.
