THE PASSING OF HAROLD LOGAN
P.A. CHRISTCHURCH, April 14. Harcfld Logan, the winner of 111,255 in stakes, and one of the greatest, pacers ever to race in New Zealand, died yesterday at the age of 24. Harold Logan spent his retirement on the farm of his owner. Mr E. F. C. Hinds, at Sefton, and died there. Harold Logan was a horse with a personality. His behaviour at the barrier, his knowledge of what was required of him in a race, and his game finishing efforts made him one of the idols of the race track during the last seven years that, he raced.
