At a meeting of the Wesley Hockey Club the following officers were elected: Patron, Rev. H. Ford; president, Mr Ji. Naylor; vice-presidents, Messrs J. Rose, J. Bowden, B. Pickering, M. Delaney, A. Nottle, G. Kearns, P. Dellaca, B. Stowell, J. Tregurtha, C. Sara, J. Durnin, ' D. Wright; secretary-treasurer, Mr F. D. Ferguson; club captain, Mr B. Reynolds; field captain, Mr N. Gillovic; vice-captain, Mr B. Ferguson; delegates to Buller Hockey Association, Messrs Gillovic and F'erguson. The following players are requested to attend practice on Saturday at Kilkenny Park; B. Smith, J. Daily, M. White, B. McLaren, N. Gillovic, W. Fleming, R. Fox, A. Smith, N. Palmer, B. Ferguson. B. Reynolds, F. Ferguson and T. Fox. NEW CLUB FORMED A general meeting of the newlyformed Community Centre Hockey Club was held on Thursday. The following officers were elected: Patron, Mr J. Wilson; president, Mr L. Swan; vice-presidents, Messrs E. Walker, R. Curragh, D. Greig, B. Petrie and R. Stowell; secretarytreasurer, Mr A. Grimwood; committee, Messrs R. A. Swan, F. Petrie, B. Petrie and D. Wells; club captain, Mi* Len Swan; vice-club captain, Mr A. Grimwood; coach, Mr Grimwood; trustees, Messrs M. Fyfe and C. Walker.
It was decided to adopt red and black halves as the club colours. The members gratefully appreciated the donations of a stick from Mr C. Walker and a set. of pads and a sum of money from the Westport Hockev Club. • '
It was decided to hold one indoor practice a week at the Community Centre gymnasium and one outside practice.
