Steamer Abandoned After Grounding
LONDON, April 12. A Lloyd’s message from Alexandria states that the' American steamer Bert Williams, bound from iremantle to Cobh, has been abandoned after grounding near Queseir. Reuter’s Port Said correspondent reports that all 37 members of the crew of the Bert Williams have been rescued. The ship has broken up.
