N.Z. Wool to be Sold on Credit to Czechoslovakia
P.A. WELLINGTON, April 11. Notwithstanding any change of Government in Czechoslovakia, the agreement regarding the granting of credits to the Government of Czecho‘slovakia lor the purpose of New Zealand wool is binding. This was stated by the Minister of Finance, Rt. Hon. W. Nash, cm Saturday afternoon. The agreement, which was made and signed in London on January 22, would be registered in due course with the United Nations Organisation, said Mr Nash. “The New Zealand Government will comply with the. terms of the agreement, and, in doing so, will follow the like procedure of the United Kingdom Government in its relations with the new Government of Czechoslovakia”, added the Minister.
