Young Jockey Killed When Schooling Hurdler
P.A. AUCKLAND, A-ril 9. While schooling the racehorse Sleepy View on Pukekohe racecourse, a young cross-country jockey suffered injuries from which he died. He was Harold Reginald Bailey, aged 20, of Auckland. Bailey was riding in a schooling gallop when his horse attempted .to run off at the last hurdle.
