IN.Z.P.A. —Reuter Cable]. (Rec. 8.40). SINGAPORE, April 9. Miss Mary Wootton. New Zealand’s Beauty Queen, arrived in Singapore by a Qantas aircraft last evening. She was suffering from severe air sickness, and she was unable to continue the journey to England to-day. Doctors here this morning decided that she was not fit to travel. The Qantas officials are unable to say when they will be able to find a vacancy on another aircraft. Meanwhile Miss Wootton is staying in Singapore with a relative.
