ATHLETICS Grey Club Recognises Six New Records
A| a recent meeting of the executive of the Greymouth Amateur Athletic Club records established by PI. Hill (junior discuss), J. R. Steel (junior 440yds), and Misses K. and G. Gray (women’s discuss) were ofiicially recognised. Achievements by J. Schroder" (senior high jump), and Miss D. Perrin (women’s 100yds), in equaling existing records were also recognised. ' As the winner of the Grey Clob javelin championship was reported as beino- an unregistered member, it was decided to award the title to the runner-up, B. Henderson. Arrangements were made . for all records to be entered and trophies re turned and engraved before the presentation dance at which 24 athletes who secured a points total of 30, or over, will be presented with certificates.
