BOXING WEST COASTERS FOR DUNEDIN

Three West Coast amateur boxers, M. Tuck, M. McGready and V. Tuck will light preliminary bouts to the professional welterweight contest at Dunedin on Monday next between Laurie Bolger and the New Zealand champion, lan Cruickshank. M. Tuck will fight a special sixrounder with J. Anderson, of Otago. Special interest will be attached to this match as Anderson is considering taking out a professional licence and he has an excellent record in southern tournaments. V. Tuck will fight the Otago champion, K. Andersen, and McGready has been matched with F. Lavenski. V. Tuck’s light will also be over six rounds.
