A nob of several hundred, some wivldng Japanese svLrds swarmed over ten police outposts during the night, and by dawn the area was littered with the bodies of nine policemen, six civilians and two members of the mob. The American authorities claim that the violence was instigated by Communists, who were determined to interefere in the South Korean elections scheduled for Saturday next.
