Mr and Mrs G. A. Tomlinson leave Ihis morning on return to Huntly. Mr and Mrs A. Mundy will return this evening after a holiday visit to Nelson. Two Wellington residents, Mr and Mrs F. G. Hood, are at present paying a visit to Greymouth. Mr E. Cholerton, managing director of the firm of Proctors, opticians, of Christchurch, will be visiting Greymouth to-day. The only nomination for the office of Dominion prisedent of the N.Z.R'.S.A. is Major-General H. K. Kippenberger. Nominations for vicepresident are Messrs H. B. Burdekln, K. W. R. Glasgow, A. P. Postlewaite, T. G. Taylor, and T. A. Turner. Txe election will be held at the annual Dominion conference in June, when a large number of war pensions and land settlement matters will be subjects for remits. Guests at the Albion Hotel include: Mr. and Mrs, R. Cameron (Invercargill), Mr. J. Clark (Nelson), Mr. and Mrs. Raymond (Wellington), Mr. and Mrs. W. Miller (Lyttelton), Misses R. Tahiwi (Otaki), Mr. and Mrs. V. J. McKibbon, Air. and Mrs. S. C. Lloyd, Messrs J. Budge, C. Harrison (Christchurch), R. Mackrell, Air. and Mrs. Baxter (Auckland), Mr. F. Walker (Hawera). A member of the headquarters staff of Toe H. in England, Mr J. H. M. Shaw, has arrived in Wellington, after spending a month in Australia. Air Shaw has taken the post of De-puty-Commissioner of Toe H. in New Zealand, and will remain in _ the country for at least a year, visiting branches and helping to develop tne movement. The organisation was hai'd hit by the war, and the number of branches is now about 25, compared with 40 before the war.— • P.A.
