The depth of water on the bar at high water yesterday was 21ft. sins. The Rata is due to arrive with cement from Nelson and Tarakohe to-morrow. The Kiwitea is at present discharging general cargo from Auckland, after which she will load coal for Wellington. The Kakapo has been delayed by wet weather at Auckland and was expected to sail yesterday £pr Greymouth. On arrival she will load coal for return.
