(Received April 5, 11.40 p.m.) LONDON, April 5. Regarding the South African cricketers' visit to England, there is a question of wives of the members of the team travelling. Manager, Mr. A. S. Frames, says that wives should not be permitted with touring teams. Captain Alan Melville, in a report, says that wives helped to make the M.C.C. tour a success He suggests that South African teams touring England should have a complete week’s break in the middle of future tours, because they are not accustomed to continual cricket over long periods..
