Humidity in Mines
Mr J. Watson, of the teaching staff of the Westport Technical High School, has been nominated by the Millerton Miners’ Union for a position on a commission which is to investigate the humidity in the coal mines of the Dominion. Mr Watson recently gave an impressive address to members of the Coal Council and Buller district mine managers on tnat subject, of which he has made a particular study.
