WEDDING
McTIGUE—RICHMOND
A very pretty wedding took place recently at the Runanga Presbyterian Church, when Isabella, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs R. Richmond, was married to Norman, second eldest son of Mr and Mrs J. McTigue, both of Runanga. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, was prettily attired in a magnolia needle run lace and embossed satin frock. The bodice which was made of lace,, had a heartshaped neck line edged with tiny net pleating, while the bodice fitted into a point at the back, and was finished with tiny covered buttons. The skirt of embossed satin, patterned to tone with the lace, . fell to form a large scalloped train. A wreath of orange blossom held her hand-embroidered tulle veil in place. She carried a sheaf of deep cream abutilons and miniature dahlias. Miss. Bette Richmond (cousin of the bride) and Miss Phillys McTigue (sister of the bridegroom) acted as bridesmaids. They were dressed alike in azure blue ninon over satin, their frocks being cut on similar lines to that of the bride. The long bodices were finished with tiny net frillings. They wore halos of. soft feathers _to tone with their frocks. Each carried shower bouquets'' of pink rose buds and miniature mauve asters. Little Dale Airns (niece of the bride) was a & bi brown ensemble with deep cream shoulder spray. The happy couple left later on the rail-car, the bride wearing a pink model frock, over which she wore a "reen coat with accessories to match.
