ANOTHER DEATH FROM PARALYSIS

AUCKLAND, April 2. The tenth death in the Auckland district from Polimyelitis occurred in the Auckland hospital to-day. The victim was a child aged 13 from Westmere, who was admitted on March 29. The cause was given as resporatory paralysis. The ninth death in the Auckland area occurred on March 18 —a woman patient from Waiuku. No more positive cases are reported, but one suspect—a child from the city—has been admitted. One positive case has been discharged, leaving 48 positive cases and one suspect case in the hospital. ANOTHER CASE IN TARANAKI P.A. NEW PLYMOUTH, April 2. Another positive case of poliomyelitis in the Taranaki health district was nqjtified to-day. The patient is a seven-year-old boy, whose home is. at Pungarehu. This case brings the total number reported in Taranaki since November to 29.
