OBITUARY

GEORGE RAMSAY CLARK.

The death occurred last evening at his residence, Blackball, of Mr George Ramsay Clark, after a lengthv illness. A native of Lanarkshire, Scotland, the late Mr Clark was 76 years pt age. He came 22 years :«?o to Blackball. where he took up employment at the coal mine, and continued at the industry until four years ago. when he retired. He was an esteemed resident of Blackball, and the relatives will have the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement. He is survived by his wife, and a family ot eleven. The five sons are George, James, John, Samuel and Archibald, while there are six daughters Mesdames E. Dumbleton, R. Clark, and R Neilson and Misses Nancy and Eisie^Clark' all of Blackball; and Mrs H. Quiml (Bennydale). Theie aiv also four brothers. Robert and Wilson (Blackball). John (Queensland), and Archibald (Scotland), and one to £ E Buchanan A cremation service at Christchurch will be held to-morrow.
