Man Drowned

AUCKLAND, March 29.

Ernest Bacon, aged 22, single a carpenter and salesman, of Ellerslie was drowned at Palm Beach, Waiheke Island, yesterday. He left his watch and towel with his brother who was sunbathing; His .brother last saw him 50 yards out to sea. Half an hour later he saw no sign.
