JEWISH PLANES BOMB 350 ARABS

(Rec. 8.0) JERUSALEM, March 28 Jewish plaes bombed three hundred and fifty Arabs who attacked a Jewish convoy. The planes used by the Jews are believed to be four of twenty-one surplus Auster spotter planes which the Jewish Haganah has nought. The pilots appeared to be bombing Arab units by hand. The Arab commando leader claimed that the Jewish convoy attacked, which had been delivering food to Jewish settlements in Hebron hills, was wiped out, and he estimated the Jewish casualties at about eighty. British army authorities stated they were unable to believe that there were sixty Jewish survivors of the convoy who were entrenched in an abandoned house, because the road leading to the house was heavily mined.

Abdul Kadar Husseini, commander of the Arab forces in Jerusalem, has ordered the Arabs to intensify their war against Zionism. “Don’t be swayed by temporary political triumphs,” he declared. “This is our opportunity to get the whole of Palestine military action.”
