Lang (former Labour Premier of New South Wales) accused the Commonwealth Labour Government of becoming a' tool of the Communist Party. ,Mr. Lang said :‘T'ru& Labour supporters have found themselves leaderless in their day-to-day struggles.” He said “‘The Chifley Government not only appeases the Communists, but it permits them to occupy strategic positions, from which they could wreck this country's economy in the time of war.”
