Mystery of Death of Jan Masaryk

LONDON. March 26

An American woman who insisted upon remaining incognito, stated at the London airport on the way to the United States from Prague that the Czechoslovakia Foreign Minister (Mr Jan Masaryk), who was a personal friend, had not committed suicide. “I know the truth, but dare not tell,” said the woman, who added that hundreds of people who had tried to leave Czechoslovakia had been shot. Hundreds of Czechs had committed suicide.
