Meat Board Reduces Prices of Export Lamb and Mutton
F.A. WELLINGTON, March 26. The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board advises that, owing to the decrease in the values of slipe wool, the North Island fat stock schedules will be reduced by a farthing per lb for lambs, and one-eighth of a penny per lb for wethers, as from Monday next, making the top prices in each ease: Lamb 12 3-8 d; wethers 8d; ewes 5Jd. In the case of the South Island there is a reduction of one-eighth of a penny in each case.
