GREY CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Grev Club championships were held at Victoria Park las evening. H. Pratt was the outstanding A grade rider and C. Thomas in the B grade. Conditions were fair, but the times fot the A grade scratch events were not up to standard. Results: — A. Grade. One mile: H. Pratt 1, K. Lalor 2, A. King 3, Two miles: 11. Pratt 1, K. Lalor 2, E Patterson 3. 'Half-mile: H. Pratt I. J. Hutchings 2, K. Lalor 3. B. Grade. One mile: C. Thomas 1, A. Bergamini 2, G. Armstrong 3. Two miles: C. Thomas 1, D. Clarks 2. G. Armstronge 3. Half-mile: D. Clark 1, S Goodall 2, G. Armstrong 3. Boys’ Race: D. Boot (scr.) 1, K. Morgan (10yds) 2, J. Mclntyre (20) The following riders will be handicapped for an 8-mile race to be held at Wallsend at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday: Pratt, Armstrong <D, Egan, Hutchings, Stokes, Alexander, King, Patterson, Lalor, Fergu.vyn, Scalmer, Dav. Sutherland. Gardner. Ber-p-amini (2), Clark, Reid, Goodall and Nailer.
