Queensland Cyclone Sweeps Away Beaches and Sea Walls
(Rec. 9.0). BRISBANE, March 24. The first cyclone o£ the season is now battering about 150 miles of the Queensland coast, and there are gigantic seas, which are sweeping away beaches and sea walls, and are flooding homes. At Nambour, north Brisbane, ten inches of rain fell in 24 hours.
