LEAGUE FOOTBALL WELLINGTON ACQUISITIONS

WELLINGTON, March 24. Several Rugby players, prominent in Wellington senior’ matches lasi, season, have changed over to Rugby League for the coming season. Perhaps the best known of these is Lionel Abbott, wing-three-quarter, whose form has given him Wellington representative honours. The others include Sutton, Onslow half-back, who will join Abbott in the Randwick club, and Orr, Johnsonville forward, who is transferring to Miramar. Up from the West Coast to play for Marist, is L. Morgan, a prominent Coast player. ■
