N.Z. CROQUET CHAMPIONSHIPS

P.A. DUNEDIN, February 3. The New Zealand croquet championships concluded to-day. Wellington contestants earned off the two maffir tronhies. A. Heenan won th-? New Zealand open chamniomhin Miss M. Ciaughton annexed the New Zealand ladies' championship. Olher trophy winners were: A. G. F. Ross (Manawatu), who carried off the New Zealand men’s open championship: H. C. Ford and Miss M. Ciaughton (Wellington) who won the New Zealand doubles championship; and W. Kirk (Canterbury) and J. Kitson (Southland) who were successful in handicap events. Games played this morning were between Miss Ciaughton and Mrs M. J. Kibblewhite (South Auckland) for the New Zealand ladies’ championship. Miss Ciaughton won both games, 26/4, 26/16.
