BELGIAN FORCE
Joins Allies in Middle East (Rec. 9.30) LONDON, June 7. A Belgian brigade has recently arrived in the Middle East to join the other troops of the United Nations. Colonel Haas, commanding a Belgian brigade, in an Order of ine Dav, to the troops said: 1 his Allied Army in the Middle East is the Army; which is to protect Africa, and possibly invade Southern Europe, you will soon be in the theatre oi active operations. When that time comes for an offensive, we shall have the position we deserve. The hour or deliverance for our king and country is approaching.” A Cairo message says the Belgian brigade received a special message of greetings from General Maitland Wilson.
