U.S. POST-WAR PROBLEMS
WASHINGTON, June 6.
Mr. A. J. Altmeyer outlined improvements for an American system of social security which, he sa'd, the newly introduced Wagner-Murray Bill would provide. Mr. Altmeyer said: “If this Bill were adopted, demobilised men would get unemployment insurance, instead of a dole, during the' conversion period in industry. Theyj would be eligible for unemployment benefits •of from twelve to thirty dollars per week according to number of dependents.
