QUINTS' DOCTOR
DEATH IN ONTARIO. (Rec. 7.20) NEW YORK, June 2. Dr. Allan Roy Dafoe, formerly the Dionne quintuplets’ physician, died at North Bay, in Ontario Canada. He succumbed to pneumonia, five minutes after entering hospital at North Bay. The quintuplets are deeply moved by the news of his death. Dr. Dafoe, gained world-wide fame by delivering the five girls, nine years ago. He resigned as the Dionne physician, in February 1942, because of friction with the parents. He was disappointthat the girls were never taught to speak English fluently.
