RAID ON MALTA
(Rec. 8.40.) RUGBY, May 31. Shortly after midnight on Saturday, there were two air alerts in Malta. During the second one, an e'nemv plane crossed the coast. It dropped a few incendiaries near an airfield. These caused no damage. Qn Monday morning about eighteen enemv aircraft approached the island, but they turned back when twenty miles from the Grand Harbour.
