(Our Own Correspondent* Miss J. Condon left last week on a holiday visit to Auckland. Miss P. Hansen, a former iweilknown resident of this district is visiting her sister, Mrs. D. Roberts, Evan’s Creek. Mr. and Mrs. J. Searle, have left on a visit to Christchurch. Mr. L. Haddock, sen., was a visitor ■o Hokitika last week. Mr. and Mrs. R. Connolly have returned, after spending a holiday in Dunedin.
Mr. Wells, N.Z.R.R.S'. Hokitika, has taken up a position in the gavage here.
TvJrs. E. Black, Evan’s Creek is paying a visit to Hokitika. Mr? V/. Berry, jnr., left on return to Te Awamutu last Friday, accompanied! by his son, John. Mr. B." Dowell, of Hokitika, paid a brief visit to the district during the week-end. Miss M. Kidd has returned after visiting her sister, Mrs. R. Miller, Christchurch. Misses J. and R. Cron left on Friday to spend a holiday in Auckland. Mr. A. Kirby), of Okarito, was a visitor here for the week-end. Mr. T. Goodman oaid a visit to Grevmonth last week.
Mr. W. Searle, jnr., visited Hokitika on Thursday last. Wireless Operator R. Searle, has returned to an Air Force station after spending leave with his parents.
