Acclaimed as a strange and powerfully exciting drama, “The Man Who Returned To Life,” commences the Opera House to-morrow (Tuesdav) The storv has a distinctively unusual theme, being based on the Question of whether or not a sac ~ cessful business man will dare risk his career and family in order to save the life of a man unjustly convicted of murder! With John Howard in the leading role the cast also includes lovely Lucile Fairbanks, Marcella Martin, Ruth Ford, Roger Clark and Paul Guilfoyle among many others. Produced on the flasnback idea, the film opens with Howard appearing as a middle-aged man. He is staring at a newspaper photo of himself and upon reading the accompanying article, is shocked to learn that a man he once knew has been condemned to die for ms murder. The way in which he solves this dilemma provides a top notch climax. “HENRY AND DIZZY" I Henry Aldrich, the most misunderstood boy in the world, is having his troubles again in the new P ara ‘ mount comedy, “Henry and Dizzy commencing at the Opera House tomorrow (Tuesday), with Jimmy Lydon as Henry and Charles Smith as Dizzy. . , The two boys get into a jam when Henry borrows a motor boat for an hour’s jov ride on the lake and inadvertently sinks it. Henry is forced to sign a confession of theft and is threatened by gaol unless he produces another boat or payment in full for the lost one. The plot thickens, and so do Henry’s problems. “Henry and Dizzy” is a riot of fun and laughs at poor Henry s expense. The cast, in addition to the three playmates, includes John Litel and Olive Blakeney as Henry s distracted parents, Vaughan Glaser and Maude Eburne. ' Regent .Theatre

An Axis spy ring seeking secret military codes and the Navy’s subsequent tracking down of the band provides mounting excitement in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer’s “Pacific Rendezvous.” Comedy and romance all abundant in the timely story introduces a new team, J'ean Rogers and Lee Bowman. Jean plays the daughter of the special assistant to the Secretary of the Navy. Bowman, appearing as a dashing hero for the first time, is cast as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. To him falls the task of not only heading the decoding department when spies kill its formei leader, but the tracking down ot a group to prevent the sinking ot American transport in the Pacific. Highlights in this timely picture are the sinking of an American warship in the Pacific by a Japanese submarine; the search ip the Navy decoding offices for a key to spy messages being relayed to Japan, tne death of Commander Brennan; the life and death struggle between Gordon and Leemuth for the Brennan code and the capture of Gordon by enemy spies. The excellent suppoiting cast includes Paul Cavanagh. Russell Hicks, Blanche Yurka and Felix Basch.
