CROQUET
The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Makura Croquet Club: President, Mrs J’. Robertson; vice-president, Mrs L. Mercer; secretary, Mrs W. H. Walmsley; treasurer, Mrs E. McCarthy; club captain, Mrs E. Warnes; committee, Mesdames Lawn, Mosley and officers.
The following trophies were presented: Championshio senior, Mrs W. H. Walmsley; (runner-up, Mrs J. W. Hannan); Intermediate. Mrs Hooper; runner-up, Mrs James); J’unior, Mrs Chivers (runner-up, Mrs Sandman);, Chamoionship doubles, senior, Mesdames Mercer and Moss; Handicap doubles, Mesdames Moss and Pring; Peace Bowl, Mrs J. W. Hannan: Shallcrass Bowl, Mrs F. Lawn; Mrs R. Smith trophy on handicap, Mrs Hooper; Yankee, senior, Mrs J. W. Hannan; Yankee, junior, Mrs Sandman; Saturday afternoon plavers, Mrs Robertson (senior), Mrs Tizard, (junior); Silver Buttons, 8., Mrs C. Moss; A., Mrs E. Warnes.
