NOTES. The Harbour Board last evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 27ft Bin. The Kartigi sailed yesterday morning for Wellington. The Omana arrived last evening from New Plymouth. She loads timber for Melbourne and Adelaide this morning. The Foxton is expected to sail today with timber for Petone. The Poolta was to leave Wellington yesterday with cargo for Greymouth and Hokitika, and loads here to-morrow for Wellington. The Huanui, en route from Foxton to Greymouth, to load coal, experienced engine trouble, and put into Nelson for repairs. The Totara is expected to load coal at Greymouth on Saturday next, for Miramar. The Kaimiro was expected to leave Auckland last evening, with Greymouth and Hokitika cargo, and is due on Monday, to load for Auckland and Portland. The Waimea is due n Sunday, from Wanganui, to loa.i timber for Onehunga. The Hokitika was to leave Wellington yesterday with general cargo for Greymouth and is due to-morrow. The Gael is due to-day with cargo from Wellington, and after discharge she proceeds to Hokitika. She returns from Hokitika to-morrow to load general cargo for Jackson’s Bay. The Titoki loads at Tarakohe on Saturday for Greymouth direct, and is due on Monday, to load coal for Tarakohe and Nelson. She returns to Greymouth, from Nelson, on September 30, to load timber for Picton.
