INFANTILE PARALYSIS
More Melbourne Cases NASAL SPRAY TESTS. [Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] (Received September 22, 11.20 p.m.) MELBOURNE, September 22. After a period of quietness, in the infantile paralysis epidemic, more cases have occurred this week, bringing the total to 364. Two more deathes have occurred, which bring the total to twenty-six deaths. Nasal spray tests are being tried now, for the first time, on thirty selected children, with the parents’ consent, with the object of seeing whether this treatment provides the immunity, claimed. Medical opinion previously doubted efficacy.
