’ IPer Press Association], WELLINGTON, September 21. The amateur championships concluded at the Wellington Town Hall. Wellington representatives won five of the seven weights. The standard of wrestling was particularly bright and in the finals notably so. L. Nolan, winner of the bantam-weight gave an outstanding exhibition. Mr. J. Creek was the referee. Results of the finals were:— Bantam: L. Nolan (Wellington), Bst 7Mb. beat S. Todd (Canterbury). Bst. 91b, by two falls. Feather: J. F. Genet (Canterbury), 9st 51b beat W. Balderstone (West. Coast), Bst 131 b, by two falls. Light-weight: V. Thomas (Wellington) 9st 121 b beat J. A. Melnnes (Canterbury) 9st 1211 b, on points. Welter: J. Podjursky (West Coast, North Island), lOst 1011 b, beat H. Wilson (Canterbury). lOst 111 b, on points. Middle: H. R. Godfrey (Wellington) 12st. 121 b beat P. Razos (Hawke’s Bay) list 711 b on points. Light-heavy: T. Anderson (Wellington), lost 21b, heat C. Passmore (Auckland), 13sl 3lb on points. lleavy-welghl: J. U. Pr.wh-n 'Wellington), 17st beat B. Norton (Auckland), 13st 911 b on points.
