Alfred Vivent, aged thirty-four, a mechanic admitted connecting electric live wires to the window screens and doorhandles of a motor trailer which was parked in his backyard. He was arrested on a charge of manslaughter, following the electrocution of a boy aged five years, who was playing around the trailer. Vivent said that his reason was the,,.recent theft of a wireless set.
