BLOMFIELD AND WESTCOATT [Per Press Association]. BLENHEIM, September 18. Unable to continue after submitting to an octopus clamp in the sixth round, Rusty Westcoatt was defeated by Lofty Blomfield in the presence of a packed house on Saturday night. At the time Westcoatt was leading by a fall, obtained from flying tackles early in the third round. The bout, marking a revival of wrestling in Blenheim, was contested at a fast pace, characterised by due proportions of straight mat work and more spectacular incidents. WELLINGTON, September 17. George Walker’s entry for the elimination contest has been accepted by the Wrestling Union.
